The inside of the store is great! It is super clean, spacious, and cozy. It's a great place to go to have a coffee and cupcake with a friend for a long, uninterrupted conversation. The few times I have been there around lunch time it is very quiet and quite empty. The food and desserts here are very good. The cupcakes are great and their paninis are great also. The price was a little high in my opinion for a panini for the size I received (which is the main reason for 4 and not 5 starts), but it did taste good and was made with fresh products. And I do understand that sometimes prices need to be higher to pay for the cost of better materials and to keep the smaller companies in business, which is perhaps the reasoning here.
The entire experience from start to finish was great. Kira worked with all of my requests and was so, so friendly, and her cakes are all so delicious. My cake was absolutely perfect and was even more beautiful than the picture I'd shown her of what I wanted. And her prices are insanely fair! I couldn't believe what I got for how much I paid.
They also offer catering that my wife used for her wedding shower. The staff for both catering and the cafe are genuine, kind, and trustworthy. The food for the catering is excellent whether it is appetizers, or desserts. The catering prices I feel are very fair. I've talked with others that have used their catering service and all are extremely happy with it!
I'm a pastry chef and I wanted to find someone to make my wedding cake who wasn't me! My cake from Maddie Cakes was above and beyond my expectations.
